[lg policy] Why the sudden plethora of google alerts?

Friends,

You may remember we got no google alerts there for a while, and
I couldn't figue out why until I got one that was a google alert on
the topic of "Harold Schiffman".  I went and edited the google alert
ap and found that yours truly was in fact the subject of the alert.
I quickly and easily changed that, and now we have multiple
backups.  Maybe it'll cool down a bit soon and I'll be able to edit
them and remove spurious alerts.
