Hindi Fortnight fete begins

*Visakhapatnam:* Executive Director of HPCL-Visakh Refinery ASV Ramanan
inaugurated the Hindi Fortnight celebrations at the refinery here on
Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Ramanan lauded the staff and officers for
bagging the TOLIC award for best implementation of official language in the
refinery.

He said that being official language of the nation, Hindi should be
implemented in a proper way as per the official language
policy. Competitions are being held during the Hindi Fortnight to motivate
the employees to work more in Hindi, he said.

Hindi implementation requires collective and united effort in which
everybody’s role is important, because it is a widely spoken language, he
said and called upon the employees to use Hindi in their day to day work.
