‘Tacos are Mexican-style sandwiches’: Local judge clears path for new
Famous Taco

An Allen Superior Court judge’s ruling that “tacos and burritos are
Mexican-style sandwiches” in a civil case Monday may have opened the door
for a second Famous Taco location to finally open on Fort Wayne’s southwest
side...“The original Written Commitment would also permit a restaurant that
serves made-to-order Greek gyros, Indian naan wraps, or Vietnamese Banh mi
if these restaurants complied with the other enumerated conditions,” Bobay
continued in his written opinion.
