[Lgpolicy] Winners of the 2024 Joshua A. Fishman Award

Joshua Fishman was not only a brilliant pioneer in the sociology of
language, he was also a beloved mentor for many, including my husband, Dr.
Harold Schiffman. Now that they are both in that Language-sphere beyond
Earth, I know that they too congratulate the winners and all who submitted
a dissertation this year. May the research and writing continue.
