We are delighted to announce the first in the 2025-26 series of online guest seminars 
here in the English section at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland -- open to all!

On Monday 8 Sep 2025 at 16:30 East European Summer Time, Rajesh Ramachandran (Monash 
University Malaysia) will give a talk titled 'Language Policy and Socioeconomic 
Outcomes: human capital development across nations'. The event will be live-streamed 
online with interactive Q&A after the talk. All are welcome to attend. Register here: 
https://r.jyu.fi/engseminars25-26. You'll then be emailed the live stream info before 
the seminar.
