Dear Colleagues,
I'm writing to share an Inside Higher Ed news article about the dissolution
of CCCC
<https://www.insidehighered.com/news/faculty/2026/07/27/ncte-dissolves-77-year-old-composition-association>,
my main professional organization. In terms of language policy, CCCC's main
claim to fame is the Students' Right to their Own Language
<https://www.jstor.org/stable/i215150> statement.

Not sure what will happen next, and I'm happy to still have organizations
like AAAL, etc., but still. It's too bad.

Katherine
