[Lgpolicy] Registration Open: Summer School on Language Policy and Nitobe Symposium 2026

Dear colleagues,

The University of Costa Rica invites you to the Summer School on
Language Policy and Planning and the Nitobe Symposium, organized with
the support of the Centre for Research and Documentation on World
Language Problems (CED) and Esperantic Studies Foundation (ESF). The
academic sessions will take place from August 3 to August 7, 2026.

The sessions will follow a hybrid format. Participants may attend in
person at the Sala Joaquín García Monge (Facultad de Letras,
Universidad de Costa Rica) or virtually via Zoom. The gathering aims
to deepen the dialogue on linguistic rights, language planning, and
interlinguistics.
