Dear colleague,

The editorial team of the journal_Language Problems & Language Planning_ 
<https://benjamins.com/catalog/lplp>is pleased to present the fourth 
webinar of the series on language policy and planning (LPP). The topic 
of the next webinar is "*What 
does**C**orpus**P**lanning**m**ean**T**oday?****The**R**ole 
of**L**anguage**A**cademies*". We have the honour of discussing this 
with those who are most directly involved in corpus planning, namely, 
language academies. The seminar will host representatives from the 
Accademia della Crusca (the Academy of the Italian language) founded in 
1583, and the Association of Spanish Language Academies, which includes 
the Real Academia Española (Royal Spanish Academy), founded in 1713. The 
webinar series aims to stimulate and promote research and discussion on 
LPP. The webinar lasts 90 minutes, with ample time for discussion.
