Friends,

I need your help locating appropriate video material about Muslim culture
for junior and senior high school students.  Please, there's no need to
point out how vague and general I'm being.

Here's the problem:  I work with the local Human Relations Council in
Reading, PA and we are trying to assist a community leader who has suffered
from hate incidents personally and professionally since September 11.
Local, regional and federal law enforcement officials are handling the
criminal aspect, and the Human Relations Council is addressing public
perception.  We are hoping to gather material about Islam to distribute to
the schools in the area.  The Muslim community here is very small and the
gentleman to whom I've referred is exhausted from trying to protect his
family and his businesses while answering every phone call to the Islamic
Center of Reading and accepting every offer to speak to local community
groups.  He is working with the council to create a document for the
schools, but all involved feel that video is necessary for the grades
involved.

If you know of any material (ethnographic film, documentary, news media
production) that may be useful, please e-mail me.  There are very active
hate groups (KKK, National Alliance) in this area and we really hope to
prevent any increase in youth enrollment in these groups.
