SPECIAL ISSUE:
on the topic of:
Visual Anthropology
Anthropology of Visual Communication
The Journal of Linguistic Anthropology (JLA) is currently accepting
manuscripts for review for a special issue on "Visual
Anthropology/Anthropology of Visual Communication." We are interested in
papers investigating visual aspects of communicative practice, including
aspects of communication which are produced for visual perception of
co-participants in an interaction, the spatial organization of activities,
the use of visual recording technologies in research and analysis, and
papers investigating issues of representation and interpretation.
Please submit by April 25, 2002
The Journal of Linguistic Anthropology is a refereed scholarly journal
published by the American Anthropological Association (AAA). See Journal
