Three-year Visiting Assistant Professor in Linguistic Anthropology, beginning Fall 2008. Vassar College seeks a visiting professor to teach courses in fields such as language and culture; language and media; sociolinguistics; expressive culture; language, science and technology.   Must be able to teach an introductory survey in linguistics and anthropology.  Geographic area open, but prefer ethnographically based linguistic research.  PhD preferred.
