Call for Chapters: Interpersonal Communication

Hi, we are going into a second edition of A Cultural Approach to
Interpersonal Communication (

this edition to be edited by Leila Monaghan, Jane Goodman and Jennifer
Robinson. IPC highlights an ethnographic approach to interpersonal
communication.

We are adding a section on electronically mediated communication and were
wondering if anyone had done work on this?  We are particularly interested
in pieces on cell phone usage and Facebook. Your chapter could be excerpted
from previously published work or be something new.  We are flexible as to
length - anywhere from 4000 to 10,000 words. The deadline would be June 1,
