Transferring audio tapes to digital media?

Hi Leila,
A DAK digital converter makes this easy. I bought one about two years
ago and have used it to convert reel-to-reel tapes and audio cassettes.
It is inexpensive (around $100) and simple to use. It comes with some
very nice sound-processing (audio editing) software and a very
straightforward set of instructions. If you are going to use the system
with a laptop and a usb connection (which is how I use it) there is an
extra interface that you need which is also available thru DAK.
Here is a link to DAK
