*Professor of Writing (Interdisciplinary)*
Marlboro College, a liberal arts institution of 300 students and 45 faculty,
invites applications from broadly trained, dedicated teachers for a
full-time, tenure-track position in an interdisciplinary writing program.
Responsibilities include teaching three expository writing courses each
year, sharing responsibility for the Clear Writing Program, and providing
other interdisciplinary tutorials and courses. Experience teaching writing
in college-level, content-based courses and ability to support advanced
undergraduate work in a liberal arts field other than writing is necessary;
applicants from fields in the social sciences or environmental studies are
particularly encouraged. PhD required by start date.
Marlboro receives the highest academic rating from the *Princeton
Review*and is noted for its intellectual rigor and commitment to
lively classroom
discussion. Its undergraduate students enjoy a 7:1 student-faculty ratio, a
voice in governing the community, and individualized courses of study on a
