Discussing Kickstarter Projects

I don't so much object to knowing about interesting projects. I can especially see how this sort of info is useful for those of us who want to point our students toward opportunities or possibilities.
My initial (and still dominant) response, though, revolves around the idea that the information might include, even implicitly, a solicitation for funds. If we had a way to link to such things, so that folks can easily find them and opt-in to being asked for money, that wouldn't bother me. I do think that there ought to be lists on which no one EVER asks you for money, even implicitly - but I may just be rapidly reaching total burn out as we approach November...
