As you may know, the department of anthropology at Yale has posted a senior position in linguistic anthropology.  I include the description below.

Description:

The Department of Anthropology at Yale University seeks to fill a position in linguistic anthropology at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. Desired qualifications include broad grounding in linguistic anthropology, a strong record of language-centered fieldwork, and a willingness to work towards rebuilding departmental strength in the subfield. Specialty and geographical area are open. Applicants should have strong records of publication based on established, ongoing research programs, and a demonstrated ability to teach and advise students at the undergraduate and graduate level. The appointment would begin July 1, 2013.
