Dear all,

the IGALA organizing committee is happy to announce that*:*

*The **IGALA 9* *abstract submission deadline for all graduate students has
been extended to 5 January 2015*.

We would also like to announce that USA-based graduate students might
become eligible for subsidized conference travel expenses by a USA grant
body. If successful, this grant will subsidize travel to IGALA 9 for as
many as 15 USA-based graduate students. You will be informed about how to
apply once your paper has been accepted for the conference.

We are also still offering the *IGALA Hardship Registration fee* (only HKD
250) for a number of scholars from economically disadvantaged countries who
attend and present at IGALA 9. You should apply for this after your paper
has been accepted for the conference. For the application guidelines,
