Hello Linguistic Anthropologists,
Anna Babel and I have begun posting your *Anthropology News* SLA Section
News columns to the Society for Linguistic Anthropology website
<http://linguisticanthropology.org/> in addition to publishing them on
the Anthropology
News (AN) website <http://www.anthropology-news.org/>. This is because the
latter only archives these columns for four months, after which time they
move to Anthrosource, where access to them is greatly limited. By housing
our columns on the SLA website, we hope to improve the visibility and
accessibility of your excellent contributions to our subfield's outreach.
Below are the links to the 2015 SLA Section News columns on the SLA
Website.
January 2015- “Report on the 2014 SLA Business Meeting” by Aaron Ansell
(Virginia Tech)

Ferguson” by Mariam Durrani (University of Pennsylvania)

Committee on Language & Social Justice

Future SLA Section News columns will be published to the two websites
simultaneously.
Columns from prior years are currently available only through Anthrosource,
but we are working with Chad Nilep (Digital Content Editor) and Dave
Paulson (SLA Web Assistant) to archive these on the SLA website as well.
Many thanks to Chad and Dave for their time and effort.
Your contributions to *AN*'s SLA Section New Column are intellectually
rigorous and have broad public appeal. We're confident that this change in
our archiving practice will help them find their intended readership.
Very Best,
Aaron Ansell and Anna Babel, Contributing Co-editors
SLA Section News, *Anthropology News*
