I am currently seeking 2-3 more papers and possibly one discussant for the two Linguistic Geography sessions at the Association of American Geographers Conference in San Francisco (March 29th- April 2nd, 2016).
The abstract submission deadline has been extended to November 18th, 2015.
The session details are below:
Linguistic Geography
Organizer: Catherine Lee, University of Hawai'i at Manoa
This session is dedicated to exploring topics at the interface of linguistics and geography. Topics may include: language and space, linguistic landscape (language use in public spaces), language and power, ethnophysiography, toponymy, dialectology, and linguistic cartography. If you would like to participate in this session, please send your 250 word abstract and PIN number to Catherine Lee at catherine.lee at hawaii.edu by November 17th, 2015.
