Amy’s book, Playing with Languages is a great book to use especially in an introductory ling anth course that deals with both language socialization and language revitalization.

Dear all,
Since the last request worked so well, I am trying another one. Would people be willing to share their favorite ethnographies dealing explicitly with language socialization? Again, I am thinking about books written within the last five years, as opposed to some of the older classics.
Sincerely,
Elise
