Dear friends,



Please come to the official AAA opening reception of the 114th Annual
Meeting as we pay respect to the local Indigenous peoples, their leaders,
and their kind generosity in welcoming us to their homelands.



Elder John Emhoolah Jr. will welcome the AAA to the homelands of the
Indigenous peoples of the Great Plains.  He is a local Native American
leader in the Denver area and is of the Kiowa and Arapaho tribes.



The event will take place on Wednesday, November 18, 6:30 PM-8:00 PM in

Centennial E (Hyatt Regency).
