Dear all,
I am writing as chair of the American Anthropology Association¹s Committee
on Ethics and the linguistic anthropology representative on the committee to
ask all of us to take a look at the most recent Ethics Blog post. The post
overviews proposed changes to national IRB rules/ regulations. This
represents an opportunity for the AAA to make an impact on regulations that
could make research either much easier or much more difficult for
anthropologists. Please read the blog, look at the information, and send in
your comments. Linguistic anthropologists¹ perspectives are needed! Here is
