Call for project proposals
Language and Health: Facilitating Access to Health Care for Linguistic Minorities
Over the next few weeks the McGill Training and Retention of Health Professionals Project (TRHP) will be accepting research proposals on the topic of access to health care for linguistic minorities. The total amount for this funding envelope is $400,000 over two years, a maximum of $40,000 will be allocated per research project over 2 years. The Health Care Access for Linguistic Minorities Network functions as the research and development branch of the TRHP whose objective is to render health and social services more accessible to English-speaking Quebecers for whom potential language barriers exist.
The principal applicant must be a researcher based in, or formally affiliated with, a Quebec institution such as a university or research institute.
