[Linganth] Petition to Hold Donald Trump Accountable for Hate-inspired Incidents

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I created this petition to insist that the President-elect of the Unites States of America publicly distance himself from hate-driven behaviors, notably so among his supporters. The hate-motivated incidents have invaded our neighborhoods, colleges, and streets. We all have been affected, directly or indirectly. 

That's why I created a petition to The Massachusetts State House, The Massachusetts State Senate, Governor Charlie Baker, The United States House of Representatives, The United States Senate, and President Barack Obama, which says:

"Mr. Trump, 
Your rhetoric during these past elections has enabled behaviors driven by hate. People, many of whom identified themselves as your supporters, have been painting swastikas in public parks and on public bridges, harassing those looking different than they do on college campuses and in other public spaces, and distributing flyers calling for kidnapping and torture of those with whom they disagree. 
I am asking you as the future President of this country, to publicly distance yourself from such acts, and to invite those who have placed their public trust in you to refrain from such behaviors.
