Good day,

The local organising committee for the 20th International Congress of Linguist Conference (ICL20, 2-6 July 2018 in Cape Town) would like to send out a final reminder to everyone about the soon approaching deadline for abstract submissions. Is there a way that we can make this announcement via this mailing list, please?

It would read as follows:


Dear colleagues
Greetings.  This is a friendly reminder that the deadline for abstracts for the International Congress of Linguists (ICL)/ LSSA/ SAALA conference/ is looming (31 August).  We look forward to receiving more abstracts from you.  (Thanks to those who have submitted already...  I know that this deadline may seem rather early - but the scale of the conference, abstract scrutiny, financial and related venue planning all require urgent action).
