Dear Colleagues,
Apologies for cross-listing, but please consider signing this petition to
reinstate Spanish information on the White House website:
https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/reinstate-spanish-
links-whitehousegov
After signing you'll be sent an email asking you to verify that you're a
human (not a bot). Once you do that (and not until) your signature will be
confirmed and counted. Then please distribute the petition as widely and
quickly as possible. If we reach 100,000 signatures by March 20, the White
House will have to respond.
Meanwhile, check out some of the other petitions that have been created
(e.g., to return climate change science and LGBT stuff to the WH website)
at https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/#signapetition
And you can create your own, but read the ones that are there before making
your own -- there are already a bunch of repeats, which will lessen the
effect. This WH petition website was created by Obama in 2011. We'll see
how it works now....
Thanks!
Kate Riley
