At  your pay,  you shouldn't have  an  $194 bill each month,  unless these loans are private?

If they are federal, apply for IBR. This  will lower the bill significantly. Importantly, you can still  contribute extra towards your debt each month, but **you don't have  to**.  You are  just above the poverty level.  If something  comes up, you  NEED to have leeway in your budget. Lower the  payments and  save  up an emergency fund. Then you can go back to contributing extra with the security that  you  don't have  to if something comes up (like needing an  anti-biotic).

Where do  you live? Is it possible to raise  your income? You have an income problem.  You should contribute money to a Roth IRA if  possible, as you will probably never  play less taxes  in your life.
