Dear colleagues:

If you happen to be in New York City on April 14th, please considering
attending the "*Hate Speech or Free Speech: A Workshop on the Politics of
Language on College Campuses*" event to be held at Fordham University's
(Lincoln Center) Law School, Room 3-03, from 9:30am to 4:30pm.

It features keynotes by David Cole, Director of the ACLU, and Lane Greene,
columnist for *The Economist*, and noted linguistic and cultural
anthropologists, linguists, and legal scholars.

All are welcome to attend. It is free and open to the public.
