Hi all,

In case you aren't receiving these messages from AAA, here is the info if you'd like to submit a proposal for an Executive Session which takes up this year's conference theme. The deadline for these submissions is February 7.

More information on regular session deadlines and the ling anth google doc to help organize SLA panels coming soon.

Call for Executive Sessions

The theme for the 2019 Annual Meeting, held in partnership with the Canadian Anthropology Society (CASCA), challenges us to examine how we engage with communities around issues of change over time, including climate change, to envision and build a more equitable future.

Answer the call to make our collective disciplinary voice heard in Vancouver by submitting a proposal for an Executive Session. These submissions should speak directly to 2019's Annual Meeting theme<http://AmAA.informz.net/z/cjUucD9taT0yNTIxMzUyJnA9MSZ1PTM3NDA5MTg4NCZsaT0xNzA4MzI2Nw/index.html>. Selection and participation in Executive Sessions is highly competitive.

The Annual Meeting Call for Papers submission portal<http://AmAA.informz.net/z/cjUucD9taT0yNTIxMzUyJnA9MSZ1PTM3NDA5MTg4NCZsaT0xNzA4MzI2OA/index.html> is open for Executive Session proposals. The portal will close at 3 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, February 7.

The submission portal is open for the following submission types and session formats:

  *   Group Flash Presentations
