[Linganth] Updated Information re. SLA 2020 Conference

Dear all,

As we lead up to the abstract submission deadline of 2 December 2019 for
SLA 2020 *Future Imperfect: Language in Times of Crisis and Hope*,
the Organizing Committee has created a Padlet
<https://padlet.com/vekh0709/e3mv8gjmfc4s> that we hope can be used as an
online discussion space by conference goers to organize themed panels for
submission.

In our Call for Papers
<http://linguisticanthropology.org/blog/meetings/2020-spring-conference-society-linguistic-anthropology/>,
we have stated that as an organization, SLA is encouraging creative and
diverse participation across methods, disciplines, institutions, and
professional levels. It's in that spirit that we hope this virtual platform
will provide an opportunity for any scholar to meet and discuss panel
directions and contributions. Please feel free to use the Padlet to post
complete and incomplete panel ideas, or indicate your interest by
commenting on any of the posted ideas! We hope that you can also share the
Padlet link far and wide so it can reach potential attendees looking for
help developing ideas of their own.
