Dear Colleagues –
I am working on developing a new undergraduate course in linguistic
anthropological methods for next semester. It is part of the research
methods sequence for students in our department, and they will be actively
documenting linguistic landscapes, making audio and video recordings, and
doing some discourse transcription.
If anyone on the list has taught a methods course and would be willing to
share a syllabus, I would really appreciate it! I am also open to suggestions
for good books, articles, and other resources for linguistic anthropology
methods training that are accessible to undergraduates. I am more than
happy to compile and share a list of anything that I receive.
Thanks in advance,
--
