Dear SLA members (and especially graduate students!),

We are hoping that those of you coming to the AAA meetings in Baltimore will consider attending the lunchtime mentor event on Friday, November 19, 12:15 to 2:00.  The event is due to the hard work of our terrific SLA graduate student representative Kristina Nielsen. It will be a brainstorming session to figure out how to establish an ongoing SLA mentoring program that will best support our SLA graduate students and foster stronger relations between faculty and students. We would love to see you there!  Graduate students, recent PhDs, postdocs, and faculty at all levels are heartily welcomed.
