Fixed-term for up to 3 years

We are seeking to appoint a social anthropologist whose research and 
teaching will expand and complement our current range of expertise in 
the Department and support the launch of the new Single Honours BA in 
Social Anthropology. The successful candidate will have regional 
expertise outside sub-Saharan Africa and sub-disciplinary specialism(s) 
that broadens our coverage, for example: digital anthropology, medical 
anthropology, anthropology of heritage and decolonisation, visual 
anthropology, multispecies anthropology, anthropology of development. 
Undergraduate teaching in the first year of the contract is likely to 
include introductory social anthropology modules, anthropological theory 
and methods, anthropology of migration and anthropology of religion.
