Colleagues: Plz see the announcement from Nicole Morse below, regarding this summer’s Lav Lags Institute. The on-line format brought together an amazing group of participants with interests in lavender language studies, queer linguistic , Translinguistics, and gender and language studies, from the U.S and Canada, Western and Eastern Europe, the Pacific Islands, and Latin America. (I know the categories are vague and colonial, but participants brought their own specificities, which often became topics for on-line discussion during and after class meetings.) We look forward to similar conversations this coming summer.
