Many thanks to everyone who has sent references on this topic and they keep coming in! It is an important question and I am thinking with so much already written I will now include this as a topic when I next teach our anthro methods course. Certainly it will help guide my student. I am compiling a list of all the recommendations and I can share if anyone wants it.
