[Linganth] Legacy of Bill Labov event at SLA meeting?

Hoping that others are also thinking it would be important to devote an event or session to the life and legacy of Bill Labov at the upcoming SLA meeting. I was not a direct student, as I know many in the association were—but I appreciate the importance and am mostly trying to start a conversation.
I am committed to an existing session, but with that in mind would be happy to help out.
