[Linganth] IMPORTANT: Upcoming AAA Annual Meeting deadlines

Hi all,

It is once again that wonderful time of year! Time to prepare panels and abstract for the AAA Annual Meeting!

The Annual meeting Website has just been updated. Here are some important dates and deadlines to keep in mind:


  *
the Executive call for submissions is open. The deadline for submitting Executive panel proposals is March 6th, 2024 by 11:59 PM ET. If you want more information about Executive panel proposals, please check out  https://annualmeeting.americananthro.org/submissions/executive-call/


  *
the call for General Submissions (your typical panel, roundtable, etc.) will not open till March 24th, 2024. The deadline this year for General Submission panel proposals is later this year, and will close on April 24th, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET

To get the ball rolling, I will soon send out a google doc for folks who would like to meet and connect to put together panels/roundtables/presentations. So please keep an eye out for that Google Doc.
