Hi everyone,
It is that time of year again: my requests for everyone to send me their SLA panel presentation information!
In order to highlight the wonderful SLA presentations at AAA this year, I am asking all who are attending AAA in Tampa to please send me the following information no later than November 7th, 2024
In your email, please include the following:
1.
Name of panel or presentation
2.
Date/Time of presentation
3.
Location of presentation
4.
Format (i.e. Panel, roundtable, poster, etc.)
5.
Additional presenters if applicable (this is for Panels and Roundtable Discussions)
6.
Section sponsoring (this is especially for SLA members doing presentations sponsored by other sections)
7.
Special status (if applicable- you will know if you have it!)
All of this information should have been sent to you all in the acceptance of your submission emails that you all should have received in the summer. Also, given that AAA has added more variety to their presentation formats, please include that information in your responses to me. Lastly, in regard to request #6, if you are an SLA member who is presenting in something sponsored by another section, pleas still respond to this email with all of the relevant information requested. It is important to highlight all of the wonderful work and activities that our membership is involved in not only within SLA, but also across AAA more generally.
I will start creating the program as the emails start coming in. Please try and get your information in to me by the deadline. That way I can have the abridged program finalized and sent out to everyone by early next week.
For those of you who are attending AAA Tampa in person, I look forward to connecting with you all then!
Best,
Sandhya
