Dear Colleague,

This is the last call to submit your individual paper proposal to:

World Anthropological Union (WAU) Congress 2025
"Unearthing Humanity: Critical and Urgent Epistemic Redefinitions in World
Anthropologies"
Hybrid Congress | Antigua, Guatemala | November 3–8, 2025

The Congress invites scholars, practitioners, and activists from around the
world to take part in a global dialogue that critically redefines the
epistemic foundations of anthropology and responds to the pressing
challenges of our time.

Before submitting your proposal:


   - Please review the congress theme, submission guidelines, and list of
   accepted panels: https://www.waucongress2025.org/panels/
   - All panels will be hybrid, allowing participation either in person in
   Antigua or online from anywhere in the world.
   - If your presentation is in Spanish, you must provide detailed slides
   in English to ensure broader audience accessibility.


Key Information:


   - Submission deadline: May 3, 2025
   - Submit your proposal here:

   - Languages: Spanish or English (no simultaneous translation will be
   provided)
   - Presentation length: 20 minutes


The WAU 2025 Congress promotes an equitable fee structure, with reduced
rates for students and colleagues from low- and middle-income countries.
