[Linganth] Summer School of Ancient Trans-Himalayan languages

Dear colleagues,

I hope this email finds you well. It is my pleasure to announce that the Summer School for Ancient Trans-Himalayan languages (SSATH) will be running again in 2026 in Trinity College Dublin, with an expanded list of courses and new guest lecturers. The dates for the second SSATH are June 15th to June 27th, 2026. The course list this year includes:

Old Tibetan (two levels)
Reconstructing Proto(-Western-)Kho-Bwa
Tangut (two levels)
Yi Script
Methods in Gyalrongic and Tangut Historical Linguistics
Weekend workshops on Old Meitei and Old Burmese
