Apologies for crossposting.
Dear Colleagues,
The World Anthropological Union 2025 Congress, "Unearthing Humanity:
Critical and Urgent Epistemic Redefinitions in World Anthropologies," will
take place in Antigua, Guatemala, from November 3 to 8, 2025, in a hybrid
format.
To ensure broader participation and accommodate individuals who have
requested additional time, the WAU 2025 Congress Organizing Committee has
extended the deadline for panel proposals and scholarship applications to
February 28, 2025.
We encourage scholars, practitioners, and activists from diverse
backgrounds to submit their proposals and apply for scholarships:

In response to valuable feedback from our global community, the WAU 2025
Congress Organizing Committee, in collaboration with WAU leadership, has
also reduced the congress fees to enhance accessibility and inclusivity.
This decision underscores our commitment to fostering meaningful academic
exchanges while ensuring that scholars from all backgrounds can actively
participate.
