Dear Linguistic Anthropologists
I'm writing to you as the Book Review Editor of *Language in Society*. I
need volunteers to write a Book Note for the books in the list below.
For those who don't know, a book note is a 500-word summary of a book's
*insights* (not merely its contents) with a brief evaluative comment at the
end. *Graduate students* are also welcome to write book notes, with a
faculty member's supervision. Book notes will be due 6 months after a
reviewer receives the book. *Priority will be given to those who have
neither published a book note in the journal, nor been recruited to do so,
since January 2023*.
To volunteer, please email me at lsyreviewseditor at gmail.com. You can
indicate up to three choices, placed in order of preference.
Sincerely,
Brian King
