Greetings!
The next meeting of our SLA graduate student fieldwork support group is this Wednesday, May 28th. The topic for our session is “All things Data”! What kind of data do you observe/record/create/use? Brainstorm the ways you create and produce data and how you understand phenomena in the field as data. You do not have to formally prepare anything to discuss, rather this will be a general discussion exchanging experiences with data in our fieldwork. We will spend the first half of the hour discussing the topic above and then open up the remainder of the meeting for general discussion about anything fieldwork related.
