Dear Colleagues,
It is the start of a semester for many of us, and I am hoping you will
encourage each other and especially graduate students to interview recently
published authors for the CaMP anthropology blog <www.campanthropology.org>.
At CaMP, we very much have a big tent approach, and would like everyone
reasonable and interested to participate if they want, and of course to
celebrate books and dissertations.
Some professors have offered this as an assignment in graduate linguistic
anthropology or media anthropology courses, and this has been a good
opportunity for graduate students to join public intellectual
conversations. If you would like to do so, please let me know and I will
send a link to a list of recently published books and already claimed books.
If you have defended your dissertation in the past three years, or have a
graduate student who has, please please consider writing a blogpost about
page 99 of your dissertation.
Happy new year,
Ilana
