Greetings!

We, your SLA Grad Student Reps, are putting together a resource recommendation document for graduate students (or anyone really!) heading into fieldwork. The goal of the document is to have a central place to share recommendations for fieldwork equipment, analysis software, etc. that graduate students preparing for the field, or others looking for new ideas, might reference when compiling fieldwork budgets or getting reading for analysis.

We invite all SLA members to please contribute to this document by recommending some of your fieldwork "must-haves" in the appropriate sub-sheets. Please add your recommendations here.<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1RgmwmHhQyQx4mKokoMm2rp8FOv6dMtMXm9DQHPa2ITs/edit?usp=sharing> <https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1RgmwmHhQyQx4mKokoMm2rp8FOv6dMtMXm9DQHPa2ITs/edit?usp=sharing> The document is structured such that different types of fieldwork resources are separated by sub-sheets/tabs. The more details the better! For example, if you have found that a transcription software works particularly great for the language(s) you work on, please mention that in the document. Special thanks to Ed'd Luna Bhagwandeen for structuring the document!

We look forward to learning from one another and supporting each others fieldwork! Please let us know if you have any questions or need assistance/access to the document. Thank you in advance for your recommendations.

Best wishes,
Nikolina, for Noelia and Nikolina (your SLA Grad Student Reps!)
