**Please share widely with colleagues and potential applicants**
Join a virtual open house for the CUNY Graduate Center's Ph.D. Program in Anthropology!
We invite applications from prospective students across all four subfields of anthropology (archaeological, biological, linguistic, and cultural). We are an intellectually vibrant and collegial program comprised of faculty and students working on a wide range of topics and geographical regions.
We plan to offer admission and competitive fellowships to a full cohort of ca. 18 students, to begin in Fall 2027. Applications in archaeological, linguistic, and cultural anthropology are due December 1, 2026; biological anthropology applications are due December 15, 2026. While this open house will focus on the application process for the cultural and linguistic subfields, prospective students across all four subfields are welcome to attend and we will be happy to direct questions specific to admissions in archaeological and biological anthropology to the respective subfield coordinators.
Join the October 23rd virtual open house, 1:00–2:00PM (ET) to learn more about the Program and the admissions process!
