Subject: Fund Drive Update

Dear Linguists,

Only $185 in order to finish Fund Drive! We are almost there! We need
a last push to end this Fund Drive and meet the Advisors' second
challenge. Help us get the extra $1,500. But you must do it within the
next hour!

Are you one of the last two people to donate $100? One of the last
four people to donate $50?

Don't forget that our friends at Cambridge University Press have a
special offer: if you are the person who donates the largest amount
during this last challenge, you will receive the Cambridge linguistics
encyclopedias edited by David Crystal from CUP (The Cambridge
Encyclopedia of the English Language and The Cambridge Encyclopedia of
Language)!

sometimes your state tax return (U.S. tax payers only). For more

Many companies also offer a gift matching program, such that they will
match any gift you make to a non-profit organization. Normally this
entails your contacting your human resources department and sending us
a form that the EMU Foundation fills in and returns to your
employer. This is generally a simple administrative procedure that
doubles the value of your gift to LINGUIST, without costing you an
extra penny.  Please take a moment to check if your company operates
such a program.
