Maura Velazquez Castillo, who was my student at UCSD,
wrote her dissertation on noun incorporation and possession
in Paraguayan Guarani.  It came out in the Studies in
Language Companion Series (Benjamins) in 1996, under
the title "The Grammar of Possession". It has a good
theoretical chapter on noun incorporation and a great
appendix on all the conventionalized incorporation
structures she could find in the language (she's a native
speaker). Maura's now at Colorado State University in
Fort Collins.
