Possessive marking

If I may add further bibliogr.info to Raible's data:
P.Ramat, The Germanic possessive type _dem Vater sein Haus_. In D.Kastovsky & A.Szwedek (eds.), Linguistics across Historical and Geographical Boundaries. In Honour of Jacek Fisiak, vol. I:579-590. Mouton de Gruyter 1986. There, I compared this Gmc. construction with Turk.,Arab. and Hebrew double-marking of genitive possession, and contrasted this strategy with that of bare juxtaposition (N+N) quoting examples from Kpelle, Mende and other languages mentioned by Seiler 1981 ("akup"42, with the very useful notion of syntactic 'continuum' for the expression of possession).
