I just saw the following ad for a postdoc at the U of Leipzig. Since it
has "typology" as one of the possible foci, I thought that LINGTYP
readers might be interested (however, I fear that there may be no
preferential treatment for typologists). -- Martin.


Position in the University of Leipzig Graduate Program 'Universality
and diversity: linguistic structures and processes' (Graduiertenkolleg
'Universalitaet und Diversitaet: Sprachliche Strukturen und Prozesse')

We are offering two grants for postdoctoral scientists for research in
theoretical linguistics (language specific or typological),
psycholinguistics or the neuropsychology of language.

We are sponsored by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German
Research Foundation) and by the state of Saxony.

The grant is valid for at least one year. Potential extension depends
on the renewal of our funding.
